Guide: Building a bankroll.

This is an excellent post by Homer at the 2+2 forum on how a "poker newbie" can create a sizeable bankroll from almost nothing (well atleast from $100).
All the bonuses mentioned in the post are no longer valid but the general idea on how to build a bankroll still holds true.
Good read...

Recently, I've seen a lot of posts from newbies asking what site they should start out at with a $100 bankroll. Many of the responses suggested Party Poker, which I believe is flat-out horrible advice. The reason is that when you're starting with such a small amount of cash, the money you make from bonuses is going to dwarf the money you make from actual gameplay (as you move up in limits, bonuses make up a much smaller percentage of your overall profit).

Hi there Moody. I was searching for the latest information on build a down line and somehow, which I don't understand, found your site. Although your Guide: Building a bankroll. wasn't what I was exactly interested in, I'm sure glad I found it. It's really amazing how, on the Internet, you can sit down and look for one thing, such as build a down line and build a down line yet find totally unrelated interesting stuff and spend hours reading about stuff other than what you were searching for. I'll keep on looking for build a down line but I just had to comment on how much I enjoyed reading the comments here.
